FCIC Virtual Employment Conference: Talent Actualized!

About the Conference

FCIC's Employment Virtual Conference is an online interactive training opportunity for rehabilitation and employment professionals, educators, employers, policymakers, youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), family members, and anyone interested in promoting successful employment for individuals with I/DD. The conference is held online over the course of one day and offers sessions tailored to meet the needs and interests of a diverse audience.

Who Should Attend

Each year, the Conference will cover topics relevant to a variety of individuals supporting successful employment for individuals with I/DD. Participants that may benefit from this training event include:

  • Job seekers with disabilities
  • Family members of persons with I/DD

  • How job seekers find their best fit through the Abilities Work portal
  • Transition services and supports for individual with ASD

Certificates of Participation

All registered attendees have the option to request a signed certificate of attendance for each session attended after the conference has ended. Completion of a satisfaction survey will be required to receive the certificates. For the purpose of verifying attendance, the online meeting room platform records each attendee's duration of stay during each session. In compliance with your provider's requirements, the signed certificate will include all pertinent information, i.e., training title, presenter, date, number of hours.
