Commonly Used DD Acronyms & Abbreviations
People with disabilities, parents, teachers, caregivers and professionals in the disability world have their own language, often referred to as “Alphabet Soup” because it is a mess of acronyms and abbreviations. People not familiar with to this world often talk about how confusing it is. Here is a simple glossary of the acronyms and abbreviations. Teaching Tools Files

This down-loadable, free multimedia presentation illustrates the experiences of a student with autism included in a third grade classroom, along with the reactions, feelings, and beliefs of his support team members and peers.
Positive Educational Planning
This free, downloadable booklet provides a portfolio families can use to gather and share priorities and insights about their child in preparation for educational or service planning activities. Included within the form are sections that guide families to describe their child, share perspectives on their child's learning characteristics and identify desired outcomes.
